Kerala Cricket League 2024: Schedule, Teams, Matches List, Live Streaming, Ticket Details - All you Need to Know

The Kerala Cricket League is set to become the newest addition to the state-based franchise cricket leagues in India, as the southern state's inaugural franchise tournament commences from September 2.

The battle in God's own country will be a six-team affair and will run for a fortnight, with some eminent players in action. As the journey of the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) starts, here are the details about the tournament.

Kerala Cricket League (KCL) 2024 Schedule

The inaugural edition of the Kerala Cricket League (KCL) will start from September 2 and will continue till September 18. All the matches of the tournament will be hosted at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.

The Six teams which will take part in the Kerala Cricket League are - Alleppey Ripples, Thrissur Titans, Trivandrum Royals, Kochi Blue Tigers, Calicut Globstars and Kollam Sailors.

Kerala Cricket League 2024 Key Players

Some of the top stars of Kerala cricket will be in action in the inaugural season. Kerala's prodigal son Sanju Samson won't take part in it, but the likes of Sachin Baby, Rohan Kunnummal, Basil Thampi, Vishnu Vinod, Abdul Basith will be in action for different teams.

Sanju Samson has been named as the tournament icon for the inaugural season, while Malayalam movie star Mohanlal has been roped in as the Brand Ambassador.

The six teams will play two matches against each opponent in the group stages. The top four teams will advance to the semifinals. The 1st team will play the 4th placed team and the 2nd-placed team will lock horns against the 3rd-placed team in the semis.
