The IPL 2024 season witnessed a stunning comeback from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), who secured their third IPL title with a dominant performance. In the final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, KKR - led by Shreyas Iyer - defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) with an exceptional bowling display, restricting SRH to 113 runs. Mitchell Starc and Andre Russell shone with the ball, taking 2 for 14 and 3 for 19, respectively. KKR's batting lineup chased the target with ease, scoring 114 for 2 in just 10.3 overs to claim an eight-wicket victory. This marked KKR's first title since 2014. The season also saw standout individual performances, with Sunil Narine earning Most Valuable Player of the Tournament for his all-round show, including 488 runs and 17 wickets.
