Abhinav Manohar IPL Profile

Abhinav Manohar Sadarangani is an Indian cricketer who is a talented youngsters in the domestic circuit. Manohar was born on September 16, 1994, in Bangalore, Karnataka. He plays as an all-rounder for his home state and is a right-handed batsman, who can bowl leg-break googly. 

Abhinav is well known for his domestic, T20, and first-class cricket performances. Abhinav progressed well through the junior category and was selected for the Under-16 and Under-19 squads. The cricketer then joined Bangalore United Cricket Club (BUCC) and made several outstanding plays in the first division of the Karnataka State Cricket Association competition.

On November 16, 2021, he played his first T20 match for Karnataka in the 2021–22 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy's preliminary quarterfinals. Notably, Abhinav top-scored in the match with 70 not out and attracted media headlines.

The same year, he made his List A debut for Karnataka on December 19 in the 2021–22 Vijay Hazare Trophy's preliminary quarterfinals. So far, he has played in two List A games, scoring 34 runs, and nine Twenty20 games, scoring 256 runs. The all-rounder also impressed with his performance during the Karnataka Premier League, now defunct, while featuring for Mangalore United.

Owing to his consistent success in domestic and T20I cricket, Manohar soon got a chance to be a part of the Indian Premier League. Gujarat Titans purchased him for a hefty sum at the IPL 2022 auction. 

On March 28, 2022, he made his IPL debut against the Lucknow Super Giants, in which he contributed with a crucial cameo in the team's victory by scoring 15 runs, including three fours at a strike rate of 214. Manohar garnered a lot of praise from his teammates, including captain Hardik Pandya, after leading his squad to a clear victory. Manhor continued for the Gujarat franchise in the subsequent season as well.
