Nitish Kumar Reddy IPL Profile

Nitish Kumar Reddy is an Indian cricketer who plays domestically for Andhra Pradesh and is currently contracted to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Indian Premier League. Reddy has also represented India B Under 19s. Born on May 26, 2003, in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, Reddy is just 19 years of age at the time of the IPL 2023 and is tipped as a star for the future.  Reddy has a frame of 5 feet 10 inches and has a bopdy weight of 72 kg.

Reddy started playing state-level cricket in the year 2020 and has been catching the eye since with his consistent showings with both ball and bat. Reddy’s exploits in domestic circuit earned him a spot in the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the 2023 season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He was snapped up by the Hyderabad franchise for Rs 20 lakhs.

Reddy is a right-handed batsman and a right arm medium-fast bowler. His all-round ability and aggressive batting style makes him a perfect player for T20 cricket and he could prove to be a solid asset to his franchise. 

Reddy made his debut in first-class cricket for Andhra against Kerala on January 27 2020. The batting all-rounder made his debut in List A cricket against Vidarbha in Indore on February 20, 2021.  In T20 cricket, Reddy made his debut for Andhra against Jammu and Kashmir in Vadodara on November 04, 2021.
