Finn Allen Biography

Finley Hugh Allen, or Finn Allen, is a New Zealand International cricketer who represents New Zealand internationally and Wellington in domestic cricket. Born on 22 April 1999 in Auckland, Allen is 23 years of age at the time of IPL 2023.
He is a right-handed top-order batsman who can also bowl right-arm off break. He is also capable of keeping on an occasional basis. He is known for his wonderful range of shots and aggressive style of play.
Allen made his T20 debut before playing List-A or first-class matches. He received his maiden T20 cap on 3rd January 2017 in a game against Central Districts. The wicketkeeper-batsman made his List A debut against Central Districts on 17th February 2018. Allen finally made his first-class debut for Auckland at his home ground versus Central Districts on 9th March 2018.
After ending the 2020-21 Dream11 Super Smash as the tournament's most successful batsman, Finn Allen received a place in the New Zealand Cricket Team T20I squad for the home series against Bangladesh. He made his T20I debut at Hamilton, but he got out for a first-ball duck. In February 2022,
Allen was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the auction for the Indian Premier League 2022 for Rs 80 lakhs.
Allen made his ODI debut on 10 July 2022, for New Zealand against Ireland. On 27 July 2022, in New Zealand's first match against Scotland, Allen scored his first century in T20I cricket.
