Harshit Rana IPL Profile

Harshit Rana is an Indian cricketer who plays domestic cricket for Delhi and Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. He is right-arm medium fast bowler and a right-handed batsman. Born on 22 December 2001 in Delhi, Rana is just 21 years of age ahead of IPL 2023 and has a bright future ahead of himself. He has a frame of 5’11” and has a body weight of 72 kg. 
In November 2022, Rana made his List A debut for Delhi against Meghalaya during the 2022–23 Vijay Hazare Trophy. The following month, he made his first-class debut for Delhi against Assam in the 2022–23 Ranji Trophy. However, before even making his debut at the senior level for Delhi, KKR selected him as a replacement for the injured Rasikh Salam during the 2022 IPL season for his base price of Rs. 20 lakhs. 

Rana made his IPL debut for the Kolkata franchise on 28 April 2022 and finished with figures of 1 for 24 in his first appearance, against Delhi Capitals. Having been retained by the Kolkata franchise ahead of the 2022 mini-auction, he will feature for them in the 2023 IPL season. Rana makes good use of his height and can bowl excellent bouncers and is also surprise the batsmen with his variations. He is also capable of putting a shift with bat with his hard-hitting.
