He accounted for three crucial dismissals for just 36 runs in his quota of 10 overs. His victims included the key players of Pakistan A namely their captain Mohammad Haris, and middle order batters - Haseebullah Khan and Kamran Ghulam.
The left-arm spinner from Rajasthan turned heads with pretty good performances for India A and also built a formidable reputation in domestic cricket. He showcased his mettle in the final league game of the 2021-22 Ranji Trophy season against Services, claiming 4/82 in the first innings. This performance cemented his spot in the team.

One of the highlights of his season was the game against Kerala, where he got rid of high-profile batsman and Kerala skipper Sanju Samson in both innings of the match.
Adding to his value as a player, Suthar also proved to be a capable batter, particularly shining in the lower order. Over the season, he scored 224 runs at an average of 32, including two half-centuries. His best all-round performance came against Puducherry when he chipped in with an unbeaten 96 with the bat followed by 11 wickets (8 wickets in the first innings and 3 wickets in the second innings).
This performance came in a winning cause as Rajasthan won the game by an innings and 101 runs. In the 2022-23 domestic season, he accounted for 90 dismissals and gained widespread recognition.
