Glenn Maxwell IPL Profile

Glenn James Maxwell is an Australian professional cricketer, who represents Australia national cricket team in One Day International and Twenty20 International formats of the game and also played Test cricket for Australia. Maxwell is an all-rounder who bats right handed and bowl right-arm off break.

Maxwell is currently on the books of Royal Challengers Bangalore and previously played for teams like Mumbai Indians, Delhi Daredevils and Kings XI Punjab in IPL. 

The all-rounder represents Victoria and Melbourne Stars in Australian domestic cricket. Maxwell was a member of the Australian team that won the 2015 Cricket World Cup and the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup, where he scored the winning boundary to win the country's maiden T20 world title.

He was born on 14 October 1988 in Kew, Victoria, Australia. Maxwell is known for his aggressive style of batting and ability to pull off massive shots. He is also a fine spin bowler who can provide his teams with major breakthroughs when needed.

Maxwell started playing for Victoria in the Twenty20 Big Bash in 2010 and immediately got noticed. Maxwell scored 102 from 52 balls against Sri Lanka in the 2015 World Cup, the second fastest World Cup century to date. He also scored an unbeaten 145* from 65 balls against Sri Lanka in 2016, the fourth highest score in Twenty20 Internationals.

Maxwell became the second Australian to score centuries in all three formats by scoring 104 from 185 balls against India in Ranchi on 16 March 2017, after Shane Watson, and joined an elite club of only 13 other cricketers who have achieved this feat.
